About NSPS

 The National School of Planning and Statistics (NSPS) is a public higher education institution that provides education and training in planning, statistics, and demography through the Faculty of Development Planning, the Faculty of Statistics, and the Center for Training, Research, and Development to contribute to human resource development and capacity building of officials and researchers. NSPS provides the necessary theories, methods, and analytical tools for implementation in building intersectoral policies at the national, regional, and international levels in order to serve socio-economic development in a timely, confident, and effective manner.

Brief history

  • July 14, 2022, to present: The National School of Planning and Statistics (NSPS) was established by Sub-Decree No. 144
  • 2000 to July 14, 2022: Planning-Statistics Training Center, and from 1986 to 2000: Planning Territory School.

Number of Trained Officials:

  • From 1986 to 2022: Trained 32 generations of students and civil servants to obtain an associate degree in planning, 3027 of whom were women, 848 of whom were men.
  • Currently, those students are leaders and civil servants of the Ministry of Planning and the 25 provincial and capital planning departments. Some of the other students are working in universities and related ministries and departments.

Vision: The National School of Planning and Statistics will become a leading higher education institution in education, training, and research in the field of planning and statistics in Cambodia and the region.

Mission: The National School of Planning and Statistics provides education and training for human resources, research, and innovation with quality, capabilities, and an environment for the development of a digital and sustainable economy.
